we would go to grandma's house and have an egg hunt in the front yard.
She and granddad had a string of low bushes in front of their windows.
We went to my other grandma's ( grandpa died when I was three) and have lamb cake with our dinner.
My sister has the recipe and makes it every year. ....things have changed ....she is in Tennessee with her husband and I and our parents are in Florida.

We have made Easter eggs every year.  And every year (when my kids are with me) the "Easter bunny" sneaks into there room and steals there baskets.  He hides the plastic eggs and replaces the empty basket with toys and things they need for Spring.  Now that they are older (My youngest is 9 and has admitted she no longer believes in the bunny) Our traditions are shifting towards the realistic meaning of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior.

Usually go to church and then come home and cook eat dinner together with extended family usually at Nana and papa's house since they have a hard time traveling. It will be the first time without grandma ad grandpa this year. May they RIL.

My favorite Easter tradition is taking my children to egg hunts. I love to watch the kids look for eggs with their little baskets. My other favorite tradition is shopping for Easter outfits and going to church.
