Walking Dead Finale on 4/3
« on: April 02, 2016, 03:18:10 pm »
Who is going to watch the 90 minute Walking Dead finale with me tomorrow night?  I am a bit excited.  It will be the introduction of a major new character also...who I also have heard has quite an effect on the storyline!
If you are also a fan like me, come back and post what you think of what happens!!!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to it too.  I wish the season would last longer though.

I agree.  It seems like many of the recurring shows are on for a fairly brief time and off the air for a loooong time.  Several shows I just lost interest.

Going to watch will be good. Its 8:27 so have half an hour or so. Daryl is hurt but don't think he'll die as yet. Love Carol and Mashon not sure if I spelled her name right.Started watching on Netflix and was soon hooked. The talking dead after the show is fun to watch also. will tape and watch tomorrow.

Yes, I'm a fan of the show and watched the finale last night. No major spoilers but...I loved the introduction of the new character. I can't wait to see what next season has in store for him and his crew. They left on quite the cliff hanger!!! What an emotional roller coaster. Also, I loved the relationship between Carol and Morgan.

Boy, you and I are on the same page.  The ending is a definite cliffhanger.  Rick is going to have someone who can go toe to toe, I think.  I also liked the relationship building between Carol and Morgan.  Worried about Maggie, too.

*** Spoilers ***
Well if you read the graphic novel where the show originates from, Glenn dies.  BUT, since the show doesn't follow the graphic novel exactly, I don't know who is it that got their demise.    It seems like it isn't Carl or Rick, because he mentions them before the "whack"....   and they are major players in the graphic novel still to come.   It could be Eugene because he gave the recipe to Rick for bullets... but he is also a player in the graphic novel... but really means nothing.    In the graphic novel, Andrea is Rick's girlfriend at this point AND the arrow that got Denise a couple episodes ago got Abraham in the graphic novel, and Judith died in the prison.

There has been a lot of foreshadowing of it being Glenn... the two times he almost died & was saved this season, and him staring at the pictures of all the bashed heads in the first Savior compound.

On a side note, I think Enid is a savior who poisoned Maggie - she got sick right after enid fixed her food/drink,  & that is how the saviors knew the RV & all the people were coming so they could coordinate their intervention. That's just pure speculation, but how were they able to coordinate such an attack with out walkie-talkies and Enid has always been sketchy.

Now on to Baseball season!  I love how the Walking Dead's mini seasons coincide with the start & end of Baseball Season...   see you in October Walking Dead.  :)
