that would buy alot of shoes. gonna get maybe 10.00 in tickets some people are putting out 250.00 and their chances are no better.Are you going to buy? .I think taxes takes 34% away still it would be nice.

I think that it is closer to eight hundred million dollars.  I never buy lottery tickets or play slot machines because I feel the odds of winning are horrendous, I am throwing my money away and every single cent is so gosh darn important to me. That being said My department collected three dollars from each of us and we will split the winnings if our number is chosen!  If I am going to gamble it is going to be black jack, craps, sports cards or baccarat. I only allow myself to lose one hundred dollars per year. December 31st, 2015 I went to a casino with my cousin and wife and managed to make the hundred dollars last for six hours and ended up losing about forty dollars after paying for drinks...I probably would have spent forty dollars on drinks any way!

I would love to win the lottery.  The money would be used for so many different things that would be beneficial to many people.

Really? 34% for taxes.  Isn't that like 240 million? Still that would leave 460 million, so I guess its worth buying a couple tickets.

The power ball is up to 800 millon tonight.  Have got to get me a lottrey ticket today.  Wish me luck as I can hardly work anymore.  I need to retire again.  I will be 75 years old in  March.

My husband just told me he was going to buy a ticket for me as well as for him.
I know there is really not a chance for us to win..................but at least I will have a shot at it with one ticket

The last I looked it was over 800 million. Yesterday at work everyone was trying to play so I went in with them. If everyone at work should win I didn't want to be the only one sitting there.

The lottery is just a tax on the poor. With that said, I paid some taxes today. Knew I was throwing my money away, but it's fun to be part of the crowd when everyone is buying them.
