I take my husband with me shopping. I make out a list of items I want him to get while I get the rest. and I make it where he is having to go all over the store to get them items. While I make a list for me and I never have to back track . But now he is getting used to where every thing is and is  catching up to me before I am through. But at least it keeps him out my hair some.  Of course when we take my day he goes with the old man to help him and it is really great then. He rarely picks up something  other then what I have on the list unless it is something for fishing.
