it's a good idea to get a light clip or use a flashlight when you walk at night.
that way, people can see you.
drivers can see you.
there are street lights and yet, they may not be bright enough.

I just walk in the daytime, since my walk includes dirt trails I would be afraid of stumbling at night. If I do want to walk at night, I do it at Walmart.

I'm with others, only walk in the daytime and I use a walking trail.   Am thinking about becoming one of those mall walkers this winter.   I see them frequently speed walking around the mall and I always wonder to myself, why don't I do that.

I think the most important thing is to not wear all black and assume that people can see you! I see this all the time and I just have to shake my head. USE YOUR HEAD!!

It's crazy the amount pf people who almost get hit where I live cause they wear just black. I grew up when being seen easily was the hype all about that reflective gear, and now a days its dead.. I'm only in my 20 but times change fast.

I usually walk around the inside of the mall if I don't make it to the gym for my work out. But yes I am scared when I'm driving at night that I will hit someone walking.

Good question, why don't you do that?

I used to walk around the block a lot where we used to live, but I won't walk here, it is too dangerous to be out and walking.

I fell and broke my leg in august and can hardly walk very far now.  So walking is out of the question. :)
