We are going to my best friend's home.  They are like family and we always celebrate holidays together. She makes the turkey and we all bring sides and/or dessert.

Have done different things over the years but since my husband passed and my mobility and health worsened I no longer cook.  Since then my sister-in-law has invited us each year and although it is about forty minutes away from us it is worth it.  We always have a good time and my husband is buried there so I get a chance to visit his grave.   :turkey:

I prefer to have something non traditional this year, but I know my Mom wont have it. So, we'll be having the usual...I don't mind though, cause I'm grateful to have any food at all.

We are going to help out at the church with annual Thanksgiving dinner for the less fortunate citizens in the community. Last year they served  almost 200 dinners. So I am going to be making a very huge, huge tossed green salad, a dessert and then will be helping serve. After that we will be going out for a visit at my brothers. I know my sis-in-law will be a little put out but her family will be there. We see them quite often and they rarely come to our house. Oh well. This is something I want to do.

I do not know what anyone is doing for Thanksgiving this year, my husband hasn't come home and I have no idea where he is and my mother don't know if she is having dinner, its another wonderful year.

We celebrate Thanksgiving the day after Thanksgiving. That way, my daughters can go to their husband's relatives on Thanksgiving and then to us the day afterwards. We all usually go to my younger daughter's house to celebrate and my older daughter cooks a traditional meal there of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, a veggie like cauliflower or broccoli with coffee and pie for dessert. Yummy!

Not sure what I am doing on Thanksgiving.  Not sure If I am cooking or not.  The hams and turkeys etc. is so very expensive.  Even Walmart Spiral Hams are too expensive.
