Another August bites the dust
« on: September 01, 2015, 12:17:34 am »
It might seem strange to have a month that you don't like, but....

my least favorite month is August because I'm not a hot weather person.  This weekend I plan to celebrate the fact that I survived another August.

No kidding.   ;D

I think my favorite month would be November.

Do you have favorite and least favorite months, days of the week or seasons?
Have a great day!

I'm not quite ready to bid goodbye to summer yet. :(

Looks like I won't have to worry, since the forecast is in the 90's up hereabouts!

I love summer and am sorry to see it go.  I just hope we don't have a bad winter.

Sounds like a perfect reason to have a celebration.  I love any excuse!
Favorite month is October, it's beautiful where I live.  Color of the leaves make it look like a fall rainbow.  Weather is not too hot and not yet freezing cold but just chilly enough to build a fire.
I think my least favorite is January.  After the excitment of the Christmas holidays January just feels boring to me.

It has really been hot  in August. rarely hit 100 but it was for the most part really humid. But now we are starting to get dry and need more rain.  Shouldn't complain about the moisture as for 12-14 years we had very little and it is going to take a long time to catch up on the moisture. But the ponds have water in them and it is so green. Mosquitios are awful, but that goes with the moisture too. But I am now looking forward to some slightly cooler weather. Not the cold though.

Truly hot in Texas. Glad this one is over too. Fall is coming up and I like it. Not so many colors change here in my neck of the woods. I do love the temps. BMaston12

I'm not a big hot-weather person either.  Our August was relatively mild. Not that september is here we're having 90 degree temps with 90% humidity.  Its beastly, but it won't last forever.

August was really hot so I wasn't sad to see it go. I'm ready for the fall months.

August flew by very quickly!  I spent the first half getting ready for vacation and the second half on vacation!
Have a wonderful day!
