My raised veggie gardens are doing really well. So far this year, I have already picked about 100 large tomatoes. I picked them whilst they were still green and then placed them on a cookie sheet with aluminium foil so they would all ripen at the same time. Once they were ripe, I removed the skins and cooked them with onion and garlic to make a tomato sauce which I subsequently froze. I have picked two cucumbers and have another two about to be 'born' and I had huge success with my garlics in the spring which I had planted last October/November. I'm also growing parsley, basil and green beans.

My garden is doing well.  Our flowers are beautiful.  The purple flowers are my favorite.

I'm not a gardener, but it sounds like you are enjoying it.  I might like it if it wasn't so hot outside

I had beautiful tomatoes until the hail came and set them back so much that they never really come out of it. Now with all the rains the bugs are getting on the plants and causing problems. My jalapanos are doing good though. I have decided not too plant any more and just buy from the farmers market, It will be so much easer  for me as it is getting too much for me to pull & hoe the weeds and we have had a great crop of them this year. Have had over 20" of rain since the end of April which is a lot for here since we have been in drought for 10 years.

I am learning to grow my veggies in raised beds this year. My son put them in for me, to make it easier for me.

I love it, planting and harvesting are so much easier. I  picked my first zucchini today

Always fun when you grow something, pick it, and get to enjoy it with the family.

Getting requests for Chocolate Zucchini Bread.

Fun, fun.

 :rose:
Chocolate zucchini bread please share that recipe!
I with I had a green thumb but I don't
I can grow a few flowers but not veggies
I love tomatoes,zuchinni and lettuce!
