I set the alarm on my Iphone for things I have in the oven or on the stove that have to be timed. That way I can leave the kitchen and do other things, but have the timer in my pocket wherever I go so as not to forget.

I'm pretty sure there would be an app for that! N ver leave for a long time when working with a stove anyways!
