I get the bright sunlight on my side of the apartment building in the afternoon at around 4pm.
I close the blinds to keep out the heat.

Good idea. The heat will definitely come through the windows. I like the light. but I like the cool air too. Now you have to sacrifice 1 for the other. No High Electric bills. BMaston12

Today it feels like the first day of summer and it's not even summer yet.  It sure is going to be a long HOT summer.

I wish it were sunny out today. There are peaks of sun but it is very windy and a little windy. They say it is going to be warmer and sunny later in the week.Alll my windows are east and west facing. So when it doess get sunny and hot I do have to pull all the blinds on the windows down. Besides geting the house way to warm I can't see the computer screen or the tv screens etc. I can't wait till summer shows up in Mass. I love the sun! :rainbow: :rose:

It was bright sunlight today at 5:30 am here.   I was thinking I need to wear sunglasses to work-out if this continues.  At one point when I was on the mat I felt I could just lay there and tan.   It is going to be a hot one here today 104'  tomorrow down to 92' with a chance of rain.      I do shut the blinds to keep out the heat, it definitely does a lot of good.
