Home Sold

So from recent posts in February my home was not sold yet. We officially sold it on February 9 2015. It was a cash deal so that was the easy part. The hard part was moving out in a weekend. After the sale we were without a place to live so we stayed with my brother in law. Unfortunately it was for 3 months. We purchased our new home May 8 2015. It's quieter here than where I lived before and most of the people are nice.
I'm glad to be able to get on FC now. My BIL didn't have internet. Oh well.

wow that is great ! its a hard market out there and it is wonderful that you sold! --i hate the thought of moving so i am hoping to be able to stay in my home for the rest of my life ! lol --congrats again !

Well best of luck with your new home.  I hope you and your family will be extremely happy there and it was so great that you were successful in selling your previous house.  We were blessed to be able to sell a rental house my mother left to us when she died and it was a blessing considering the market.  We needed the money and did not want to rent the house for sure so it worked all to the best for us.

Glad you were able to sell, I remember when I sold a previous home it sold fast and I had to hustle to find a new place to live;sometimes it's hard to know how fast a property will sell and you may need it to sell before you can get a new place, so it can be stressful, good you are happy in your new home.

Thank you for all the well wishes. We had to sell below our price that we wanted, but if we rejected it we probably would still be there. It's all good. :-)

Moving can be such a pain in the 'you-know-what'! My family has only moved once, my wife and I have moved three times, and I have moved seven times in my life which is seven times too many.  Each time I swear that it is the last time and promise not to accumulate tons of junk. I have managed to keep with that promise in the latest house and have lead a somewhat aesthetically clean life. One desk, three book cases, two laptops and two additional laptop monitors is about the extent of my worldly possessions which leaves me completely mobile.  I have a closet full of clothes of which I could reduce by about eighty percent...and will with the next second job slow down (around October I think).
