how honest should one be if there loved one isnt telling them everything. cause when you do say something they turn it against you

As long as you are always honest, you never need to worry about remembering what you said, it's always the same.

I agree with oldbuddy.  If you are constantly telling even white lies, then you are constantly having to remember what you said, when you said it and to whom.  Not to mention, nobody will ever believe you.  Tell the truth!

Just because someone else isn't doesn't mean you have to follow suit!

Most people do not understand that it is easier to tell the truth than to tell a lie.  The truth-you always know the answer.  A lie-you have to expand so much energy trying to remember what you told people-you always get caught.
