Has anybody ever heard of Cholestasis? My daughter is pregnant with twins and has it.

No never heard of it before your post but I searched it online and it sounds like it can be uncomfortable - hope you daughter is over this condition very soon and has her babies happy and healthy.

I have heard that choleostatis is something that usually occurs during pregnancy and can be detrimental to the fetus but not the mother.  It seems it has something to do with bile being secreted from the liver but gets "blocked" due to "fat".  I know I wouldn't fool around with it, so I would suggest she see her doctor pronto.  Sure hope everything is ok.

no i never heard of it but if you go online to web md or a medical site it will tell you what it is and how to treat it  hope she is ok and has healthy twins o to web md there is alot of information i just did so i no they have the info about it hope this helps nancycoe  i will keep her and your family in my prayers

If she knows she has it then I am sure she has been to a doctor who told her she had it.  And I would get my info from a doctor not webmd.  That site tends to make the common cold sound like a death sentence.
