:) We have local cable. We used to have Dish Network and liked it a lot. Our local cable with internet and phone bundle is about $150/month. :)

I have DirecTV and are happy with it.  Occasionally the weather will affect it, but nothing I can't live with.

I moved to my new place and decided to just get internet.  I barely watch tv to begin with. So i stream mostly from Netflix and Hulu Plus.  I have a subscription to Netflix and my sister has to Hulu Plus and we share it.  Works out for me

I switched to DirecTV last year when we moved and so far it has been a decent price. I am sure that will change here in the next month though as our promotion period will be over. Still beats what I had before though. We had Time Warner which was crazy expensive. After we moved, payed our last bill, cancelled our services and returned the equipment we still kept getting bills. I must have spoke to 20 different representatives and supervisors at Time Warner who said they would take care of it. That went on for about 6 months and after I got something in the mail saying it was being turned over to a debt collector that was the last straw. Thankfully I was finally able to get someone to take care of it after all the hassle. Will never go back to that company.

Netflix and playstation store.   If we get desperate for more up to date episodes of some of our favorite shows like walking dead then we buy them from playstation store because it is still way cheaper than having cable.  Otherwise we stick to Netflix which for $8.62 per month you cant beat.   :glasses-nerdy:

I know exactly what you are saying.  I had cable TV service for approximately 16 yrs and let me tell you those years were not the "Happiest" of relationships!  I finally switched to Direct TV (satellite) and since I have switched, I'm the happiest camper around - no interruptions, no loss of service and great pricing!!!!!!!!!

If I had my way I would not pay for "live" tv, I would just do Netflix. I don't pay the bill though, so there it is. So expensive!

Honestly, cable is dying. We cut the cord years ago, and we've been doing just fine without it

Yes, we have bundle package also with verizon and it is expensive, I am wondering about what else is out there; where we could get a better deal as they keep going up.

I don't have cable.,,haven't had it for a few years now. I watch tv through antennae for local stations and subscribe to Netflix and stream via Wii.
