Grocery shopping

Igo early in the morning not to crowded at my Kroger store

Mostly on the weekends around noon. I don't like doing it at night.

When I was in my 20s I would go late at night, but now I tend to go in the afternoon.  Not because I'm tired or anything, but just because that's when I'm out doing other errands.

I prefer to do my grocery shopping during the day.  That is the time when stores are much less crowded.

I do my grocery shopping on my days off work and I like doing it during the day. Then I have lots of time to figure out what i need to get. I don;t have to be in the dark at night where i don't see too good and have to be in hurry before it gets to late and be bedtime or even miss my shows i watch in evenings.

Can't really go grocery shopping too late here, I don't live in a very safe neighborhood. It's safer to go when there's light out, also, I rarely have a car most days. I try to get my walking in during the daylight.

I make a list based on the sales from the ads and what we already have in our pantry/fridge. I try to go to the same store (Super Walmart) and price match, but if it's something I know they won't match or just better quality elsewhere, I will go to another store if it's something I really want. I also make my dinner menu for the week based on the sales and that is what I get my list from. Making the menu in advance leaves no questions about what dinner will be each day either, I just look at the menu in the morning and get out those items to thaw or think ahead what prep I will need to do.
