Honestly didn't even pay attention to which movies were in the running this year.  Never heard of Birdman and have no idea what it's about.

I guess the only one of the nominees we have seen was American Sniper and we thought it was really good!  Don't know anything about Birdman or any of the others.  We haven't watched the Oscars in years so we only hear about the outcome 2nd hand.
