Dear cateyes,
Try using Draino to unclog the toilet.  A plunger may work also.  Have a good weekend!

DP NOT USE DRAINO IN A TOILET!  It clearly says that on the jug.

If the plunger doesn't work, perhaps you have a friend or neighbor with a "snake."  Yeah, stay away from the Draino, it's not made for toilet pipes.

Yeah, it's a plunger or a snake.  You may have to work on it with a plunger multiple times.  Don't give up easily.  Depending what is causing the problem and how compact the clog and where it is in the system, you may HAVE to resort to a plumber.

Just when I came to the give you my brilliant suggestions you have solved the problem.   WELL, any way  I am sure you are happy it is solved.   I use the  hot water and dish soap, also I use baking powder and vinegar to try to keep them clean and clear.

Try using Drano. If that does not work, then I would say have a friend or a relative to help you out so you do not have to call a plumber to help you.
