clearance items in kroger

I don't have a Krogers in my state but my local supermarket has what I call a day old section.  That's the first place I stop when I go there.  They always have great deals on produce that's about to go bad but it's still edible.  This fall I got pomegranates for .25 cents each.  They were ripe and juicy.  I froze some of them and made some pomegranate juice and it was so good. 

They usually have a package of bananas for around 30 cents.  I got some packages of pineapple spears for 50 cents they tasted so good.  I love it their clearance section.

Do you ever buy clearance/Mark down  items from krogers. They had and or still have great items marked down.
We found zyrtec medicine for $2.99, large hershey bars with expiration date of 8/2015 for $1.00 and a lot of other items.

Yes, I love to look through the marked down/clearance items at Kroger and at other stores that I shop.  I have found some great bargains!

I have never shopped at Kroger, but if the item is non perishable then I might buy.  You have to think of the shelf like of all foods, then decide.  They are too greedy to just dump foods that has expired.

I shop Smiths/Kroger almost every week; however, when I shop I only buy specific things whether they're on sale or not.

Yes, we do. They have have a clearance sale and we got some items.

I just moved to Missouri and i cant find a Kroger anywhere . I use to live in IL and got deals at Kroger all the time i guess not any more.

I have never seen a Kroger in my area, but their are other similar supermarkets that i shop at, where i go straight for the clearance items and am happy when their are items that we eat, and i can get a good deal on.

Love Kroger, and especially love how you can load coupons on the Plus Card online.

I love the fact that not only do you earn money on fusion cash but you are thrifty as well! I always hit the clearance/ mark-down racks in the back of our Krogers (King Soopers in Colorado). I bought generic Sriracha sauce which wasn't as good as the original but gets the gob done and saved me a dollar. Last week I payed one dollar for four croissants which received rave notices from the kid's (in their lunches). Holiday decorations were there a few weeks ago which will help dress up the Holidays next year. Wrapping paper and Birthday cards were also marked down to a dollar. I get excited when I can fill my shelves at half price and have been doing so since the economy wasn't nearly as good as it is today!
