I have had two sons because their father raped me. I love my boys and they are not responsible for what their father did to me. Also I don't believe in abortion. I am glad because my boys are the best thing that happened in my life.

Such a great testimony! Abortion is such a tough subject to "discuss", especially because it directly involves human lives and because unless we have been a woman who has been faced with the decision, it's hard to say we can "relate" to what it must be like. However, two wrongs don't make a right and it's not fair to punish one life because of another's "crime" or "bad decision." I'm not judging, because that's not what we should do, but abortion is wrong.  There are resources to help families/women in these situations that does not involve taking the child's life. For cases where there is rape or incest, the solution isn't to abort the baby but to provide the woman with the resources she needs to go through with the pregnancy and raise the child, including give the baby up for adoption. It's not an easy solution to implement, but it's possible. This can include requiring the "criminal" to pay for these services and contributing to a fund that provides services to other women who are in the same situation but where the criminal has not been identified or detained, etc. I know people disagree, but that's okay, as long as we can debate with civility and understand that it's hard to fully discuss such a divisive topic online in a newsfeed. the politans are tring to say a woman doesn't have the right to  have a abortion if she gets raped  or it is incest i say  bull *bleep* how would they  like it if it was there mom sister aunt cousin daughter  are anyone in there family i was raped 3 times my a family member and a guy  i didn't no luckily never got pregeant but i would be dammed if i did it would be my choice a man doesn't give you the choice to get raped so why  shouldn't you be able to do what is right for you                                         
         

In cases of abortion, rape, incest, or the life of the mother, are the ONLY places I agree with abortion.  Otherwise, if you're going to be stupid and not use protection, wind up getting pregnant, and use abortion the way you should have used a prophylactic, you should be required to give birth.  Still don't want that baby?  Fine - there are a million couples out there who can't have children of their own that would gladly give your child a loving home.  If you find you can't even do that, then better to keep your legs closed.  Abortion is a serious thing.  You're taking away a LIFE that can't speak for itself and it shouldn't be legal at all unless it involves what I mentioned, above.

I think it should be a woman's choice as to whether to have an abortion, especially if rape of incest is involved.  I don't however feel that woman should use abortion as a form of birth control.  There are too many products out there to take care of birth control.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion and I respect that some people are against abortion even though I am not.  But, I think it is insane that anyone is against abortion no matter what the situation is.

While I do not believe in abortion at least for the most part I do think there are exceptions.  If I were raped and got pregnant I am not sure I would want to have the baby.  And if I were raped by a close family member I know I wouldn't.

I went to came with a girl that was the product of a rape.  Her mother blamed her for the rape.  We were probably 15 and 16 years old when we were at this camp.

I also would not condemn you for having an abortion if you were truly raped.  But even these girls who just have sex with who ever comes along and get pregnant and have an abortion (I know a girl who has had 3) - they are the ones who have to answer for it.
