Fruit Cake! Have you ever actually tried it?

Yes and it is not that bad I actually enjoy it but it does lose the taste after a few.

I have tried fruit cake once in my life and I didn't like it.  It was too dense and thick.

I tried several different kinds of fruit cake.  The cake part is okay, but I just don't like the candied fruit in the cake.  If it was just the cake and nuts, it would be okay.

Yes, I have tried it and I just do like, even when my Mom makes and she is the best cook I love all her food, but never acquired the taste for that fruit cake,

I've had fruit cake multiple times in the past because my mother used to buy (and make) it. In my opinion, it's not all that bad...I think people don't like it because it's so dense and that it has....dried fruit in it...My mother would sometimes put nuts in her homemade fruit cakes, which tasted better than the store bought cake.
