I do feel for you and I know how you feel. When I was younger I had the privelege of being asked to be a bridesmaid for a friend of mine. Little did I know that less than two years later, on Christmas Eve, my friends' new husband died suddenly and unexpectedly. I tried to be happy over Christmas but honestly, I couldn't stop crying and wondered at the time if I would ever have a happy Christmas again. Then over the next few years, my friend found another husband, had 3 kids, I got married and had 2 kids and I realised that Christmas was magical again. The thing is, when we lose someone, we are reminded how much we will miss them but later, once we've accepted it, we realise how fortunate we were to have good friends, even if it was cut short. It is afterall, better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. God Bless you all.
