I have heard that some people recycle their tea bags, but I have not. I thought about using them in my garden, but I have never got around to doing it yet.

Really, that is possible to do?  I don't drink tea, but I've made tea before and I don't see how you could recycle something like that......
.....unless you mean do you Re-USE your tea bags, as in do you use the same tea bag to brew more than one cup of tea???

I'm not much of a tea drinker myself.  When I do drink it I buy the pre-made bottles.  Some of my family members really enjoy tea though.  However, I've never seen them recycle a tea bag.  In fact when I opened this post I thought I was going to learn a new use for the damped tea granules.  For instance my Mom applies a mixture of used coffee granules and egg shells to the dirt when she gives her roses a dose of miracle grow.

I put them in the compost pile, along with the coffee grounds.
That's the only way I recycle them.

This is what I do too. The paper is biodegradable and so is the tea inside the bag.

I have never tried that, and I usually recycle if I can.

If by "recycle" you mean using the tea bag more than once, then yes, I do this. I like to have two cups of tea and some cookies as a mid-afternoon snack and I usually use the same tea bag for the second cup as for the first. It tastes just fine and gets maximum use out of the bag.

I never knew that tea bag was recyclable. This the first time I read this. I guess each state is different when it comes to recycle laws.
