you could've had an allergic reaction to it.  try some calamine lotion.  if that doesnt help maybe call your pharmacist and ask his/her opinion

If it still hurts I'd get it checked by a doctor. Better to be safe than sorry especially with lime disease. Not everyone gets a red wring if it's lime disease.

I hate ticks. Just watch it and continue to put alcohol on it, if it doesn't clear up in a few days you mught want to cll the doctor.

I would have a doctor check it out.  I read a story about a girl who became paralyzed and no would could figure out why.  Until one doctor located a tick that had burrowed into the girls spine.  This could be an old wives tale, but one shouldn't be cavalier about their health.

I have found several ticks on me so far this year when I've worked in my yard.  I think it is going to be a bad year for them.  I even found one on me that I had never seen before.  It was black with a white spot on its back sort of like a black widow spider.  I looked it up on the internet and found out it is a Lone Star tick.  It carries a disease similar to lymes disease but could cause an allergic reaction to meat!  It has migrated from Texas (thus "Lone Star" name) and can be found as far north as Maine now.  I live in KY.
Have a wonderful day!

You are just probable having a reaction to the bacteria from the tick. If it itches it is just healing. Watch for red streaks. That is a sign of infection. Otherwise, don't worry about it.
