Little League World Series

I know it's been over for almost a week now but just had to comment how sickening it was to hear how many times the girl on the Pennsylvania team got her named mentioned making too much out of her and forgetting that it is a TEAM sport!  Karl Ravech was pathetic, you would of thought it was his daughter playing, Mone Ravech.  In the first half hour of the game between Las Vegas and PA her name was mentioned over 40 times, 27 times just by Ravech!  That was more times then the kid who got shot in Missouri in a day!  Forgetting it was a TEAM sport too much pressure was put on the girl to do good and when they lost you didn't hear so much about her anymore and it was funny to see a cameraman yelled at by one of the parents to get away from her when they were watching LV play Chicago.  I'm glad Chicago won because if PA would have you would of never heard the end of how the girl got them there.  There were others on her team that deserved attention too and also many players of other teams, not just of US but all the countries.  I think it is bad to focus on a few players when it is a TEAM sport.  I also think that ESPN is getting a little bit crazy with the LLWS now showing quarter final and semi final regional games.  I'm sure they can fill those spots with some more worthwhile watching.  I think there is more pressure on these kids when they know they are on national tv and that really isn't fair to them and affects the outcomes.
