How about a nice salad, spaghetti and garlic bread?

I've had a beef joint in my freezer for a few months now and it really needs eating up so today, I have made a roast with potatoes, carrots, onions and celery. I cooked it in a sauce which was really tasty. The sauce was made of wine, a little vinegar, tomato paste, chicken stock, bay leaves, thyme and the tiniest drop of anise extract and orange extract. I cooked the potatoes, onions and carrots in the sauce also so they all came out very flavorsome. Of course, that doesn't help you! How about homemade pizza and salad!

Pork steaks and a green salad. Steaks will be grilled out on the grill. I bought one of those grill mats advertised on TV and it sure works. Hubby is now a better griller then before. he will also grill some veggies with the steaks. Yea I do not have to cook again.

What about something lite, like soup and a nice salad? Or maybe sandwiches and soup. A pulled pork sandwich sounds really right now to me.  :P

I got a reprieve for a couple of days as far as cooking is concerned.  I had cooked hamburgers, chicken wings and pork chops this week, and had leftovers.  Since I didn't want that, I had a pack of Italian sausage and a pack of bratwursts.  I cooked an Italian sausage yesterday and earlier today.  I need to find my brats so I can cook a couple for my dinner today.  My grandson had hot dogs.  I will have to cook tomorrow.  In as far as a quick dinner, do you have hot dogs and pork and beans and cheese?  You can make a hot dog casserole.   :rainbow: :rose:
