Are there any suggestions on what is a good way to work from home.  Are there any legit offers out there?

There are companies that hire employees directly to work from their homes. Legitimate work from home jobs include customer service, recruiting, sales, scheduling, technical, writing, marketing, and telemarketing positions. I am working at home right now over the phone providing phone translation service.

It is scary to take a job like that...I did a lot of research before I signed up with fusion cash and don't know any other companies I would trust as much...might have to look into it, though.

There are some out there, but they are few and far between. Just check them out really good. My Mom always told me that if a company wanted to hire you, they would not ask for any money for you to work for them. Watch out for this. Don't buy their start up materials, it is not ligitimate. I wish you all luck, but please be extremely careful. :monkey:

If you like to shop there are some legitimate mystery shopping jobs that can be found online.  You just have to be careful because a lot of the sites that advertise mystery shopping are actually "Free Trial" type offers that can end up costing you money.  I do some mystery shopping for a company (sorry, can't give the website because it's against Forum rules) that mostly involves car dealerships.  Sometimes I have to pretend to shop for a car, other times I have to bring my car in for service (such as oil change).  I'm always reimbursed for any expenses plus get paid for my time.  A good thing to remember when researching mystery shopping jobs is that the legitimate ones will typically make you apply for the job while the non-legitimate ones just want your email address and credit card number.

Krissi, Thanks for the info.  Does it pay enough to make it worthwhile and do you get to work for them often?

I have signed up for a mystery shopping job site, I have yet to go out on a job. The ones to apply for are for members who pay monthly fee. I have a free membership and have to wait for employers to contact me.

You might be able to find jobs helping major search engine companies from home.  This is information someone told me but has not been looked up yet.

More power to you!

I did a couple of mystery shops some years ago.  They were pretty fun and I sometimes think about getting back into that part time.  Thank you for the reminder on how to tell the legit from the scam.

I have been looking to work from home but like others have said you have to be careful about companies wanting credit card information or saying pay us 200.00 to get started on your home business. Best of luck to you!
