Do you hang out your clothes or use a dryer to dry them?

I live in a condo so I use a dryer. Growing up we hang clothes on the line.
I really miss hanging out sheets and towels. Everything smelled so fresh when hund outside.

I don't have a dryer so I line dry my clothes. On a hot summer day they dry very quickly. (-:

I use my dryer to dry my clothes since I live in the city.  Too much stuff in the air flying around, too include Air Plane, Birds etc.  The pollution in the air is toxic.  If I lived in the country away from most of those things, then yes I would.  I was born and raised on a farm and we hung our clothes outside.  We could actually smell the sunshine in our clothes.

We hang our clothes to save money. I also feel like it makes the clothes feel better and last longer.

When I was younger and had a baby, I hung my clothes out... it's amazing what the sun can bleach out....

Some of my clothes, I toss in the dryer, but others I have on hangers in my bedroom or laundry room to dry.
Most of my nicer, work clothes are not supposed to be dried in a dryer, but most of my casual clothes are fine in a dryer. So it really just depends on what the tag says to do.

For years my wife hung out clothes on a clothes line.You cant beat the natural fresh air for drying.We had to move and use a dryer now and also have a rack in the bedroom for hanging.Again i know my wife misses the natural outside.

I use a dyer to dry my clothes because it is so much easier and they dry really fast. Also it is more convenient too use.

If I had a yard I'd definitely put up a clothesline.  I love the fresh air drying.  In my previous place I had a washer and dryer, but I put up a line and saved money.  For eight years I did that and the birds were never a problem, even though one end of the line was attached to a tree.  Two homes before that I only had a washer and a clothesline.  I was there for twelve years and never had a problem with bird droppings either.   

Today I have to suffer the laundry mat and my clothes come home smelling like the cleaning solution they use on the machines.  I hate it and it costs so much.  I can't wait until I can "move up" again.

I hang out the whites for the most part. the Sheets and towels also. Love the smell of outdoors. I dry all perm press and jeans.
as I don't like to iron. There was a time everything was hung out. I have a shade cloth over my patio so don't have to worry about birds. But the sun still shines through some.
