there is a lot of farm land where I live but it is mostly feed crops. That is when we have water. But brother has two large green house.  Get a lot of my produce from them. Also we have a farmers market here in the summer too.  Plus a distribution center that we can good quality veg. and fruits from.  I also grow a few tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. Nothing like going outside and picking really fresh veggies.

I don't have a garden, but we're hoping to start one this year.  Looking forward to some delicious veggies.

I live in the great state of Texas where farming and ranching are very prominent.  I live in the country and I always have a garden.  There's nothing better than fresh grown vegetables.  And there's many acres of corn crops all around where I live.

We always have a small garden at our house, just for fun and for getting a few fresh vegetables.  I live in Middle Tennessee and there are farms all around us.  One side note-- we just got back from a trip to Panama City Beach, Florida, where my daughter's band was playing for the Spring Break crowd. Thousands of college kids had flocked to the beach to celebrate. As an older couple, my husband and I stood out like sore thumbs, but a lot of the kids tried to strike up a conversation with us.  My husband would ask what school they go to.  We were surprised at how many said, "Oh, I don't go to school. I'm a farmer."  So yes, even farmers take a Spring Break to have some fun!

I grew up on a dairy farm (Wisconsin)
My mother always had a large garden for vegetables which I help weed.
But since then I moved to NJ (Garden State), but never had a garden (flowers or veggies)

Farming is hard work.  You have to love it to keep at it everyday.  But then again somebody has to do it to produce all the veggies etc. that we have on our tables.
