Suggestion: Cashing Out
« on: April 02, 2014, 11:22:00 am »
It would be nice if we could choose how many $$ we would like to receive when cashing out. I sometimes may not want to cash out for the full amount for one reason or another.

For example, if you have $50 built up in your account but you only want $30, you could choose that amount or any other amount.

Would this be possible?

I see what you're saying, but why not just cash out the full amount?

Why can't you just cashout when you get the amount you want?

Thank you, ladavia89, that was what I was thinking when I originally read the question.  However, I guess I get their point.  If you would like to leave yourself a little bit of your balance as a head start for the next month, it could be nice.

It's possible, but the way our cashout system is setup, it would be difficult to accomplish - requiring rewriting a lot of code that deals with cashouts on the administrative side (not to mention the member side).  My advice in this situation is to simply cashout when you hit $30 (or whatever your goal is) and then continue earning.  You can accomplish what you desire if you have a plan ahead of time and stick to it.

I usually just cashout towards the end of the month or if I came up with some goal( usually around $60) and cashout then start building my balance for the next month.  I can understand wanting to leave a little head start but not enough that you're almost at cashout again

Okay, that's fine.

I know about code. It's a real pain. That's why I never, ever took a job of programming after I graduated from the tech school. It took me hours to write code to search for a product at the place I was working and after all that time, when I tested it, I hated the stupid thing and deleted all of it...never again. LOL

It almost never hurts to have a few extra dollars.  If you are worried about spending them you can open up a new banking account that stores only your FC $money$!

That's true, it would be hard for FC to keep up, since some offer expire 180 days for each offer. It better to save it into your piggy bank than FC account

I understand what you are saying. However, I think we can cash out anytime we wish to in a given month. Therefore when you reach your goal just cash out that amount and what is left will be applied to the next month.

I agree that would be nice, Ive often thought that myself, Id like a head start to next payment, then I wouldnt have to wait so long in between payments :)

Im sure they probably do this for a reason tho

I cash out when I get to $25 and then start on the next month. Works great for me!

i my self like it the way it is,if you make $25 to $30 dollars then cash out at the end of the month or if you want to make more then wait until you make the amount of money you want then cash out.if it takes 1 month,2 0r 3 months then so be it as long as you don't go over 180 days.that's just my opinion no offence against anybody.

cash out early if you don't want the full amount is the only way. so if your only wanting 30 of 50 dollars then cash out when you have reached 30. that's the only way.
