A man who wants his wife to look like Beyonce? What would you do?

I didn't see that show, but there is no way she should put up with him.  If you can't love me the way I am, then you don't love me and why should we stay together?  I would head immediately for the closest and best divorce lawyer I could find!  He sounds like a real jerk!

I didn't see the show but I just looked at the site. Just reading his comments make me things he's crazy and insanely superficial . What guy takes pictures of himself 20 times a day and brushes his hair 5000 times a day? I wouldn't even have agreed to that makeover

I looked at Dr. Phil this morning and was appalled to see this man who thought he was a 13 and he said he needed a trophy wife.  He rated his wife as a 5.  This man said he wanted his wife to look like Beyonce Knowles and threatened to leave her in two months if she didn't get on board.  I thought he was over the top at least because his wife said her self-esteem was suffering as a result of how he treated her.  If your man berated you and your self-esteem was suffering because he constantly complained about your looks, what would you do?

Sounds like a ridiculous request on his part.  I wonder what amazing things he's bringing to the table.  She needs to leave his sorry rear end until he can grow up and appreciate her for who she is.

I think that I would find another husband! You are married for better or worse. That means that even if he gets fat or you do, your love for each other should mean more than their looks. That does not mean that you should not try to look your best or shed a few pounds. Support is more important than looks! Get Real!

Although I respect BMaston12's opinion, it's funny that she says that this girl should find another husband and then in the next breath says that this couple married for better or worse. That vow applies to both of them.

He's on television because that's a sensational thing to say on the show and it gets lot of attention. She can just love herself and be his wife even if he doesn't deserve it. If he leaves, he leaves. He'll never be happy with anyone else either.
