Looking for a widget
« on: February 24, 2014, 10:14:02 am »
I don't know if such a thing exists, but I am looking for a desktop widget that will allow me to rotate a small daily picture of quote up in the corner of my desktop. I don't want to rotate my wallpaper, but I just want a little desktop widget that I can add pictures and sayings into, and rotate them daily, either automatically or manually. I've searched all over, and can't find anything like that. And I don't know how to make a widget myself!

I don't know much about widgets, but I know there are apps that give you daily inspirational quotes and stuff like that. I've never used one myself, but a lot of my friends have the app and they seem to love it!

I don't know what kind of computer you use. If it's a Mac, check out the widgets they have. Otherwise check and see if there is an app that has that functionality. You might fond one.

I have Windows 7. I've searched all the widgets I could find, but part of the problem is that I don't know exactly what search terms to use. All i could find were ones that rotate the desktop wallpaper, which is not what I want.

I'm on a laptop, not a smartphone, so apps wouldn't do me any good. Also, I want to be able to put my own daily content into it.
