So Which IS Greater: The Throne or the King?

Jesus here says that one who swears by 'where the holy one rests' swears by both it and 'the one who rests there.'

But He asks which is greater, and doesn't-answer/isn't-answered satisfactorily (not to my mind anyway).

So, which one is greater?

I know that's a lot like asking 'Which is deadlier: the sword, or the one who wields it?' The answer depends on who/what/when/where/why/how you are, and a few other things.

The holy one obviously HAS to be great in order to rest in the holy place; but the place has to be great in order to inspire the holy one to such greatness.

So the holy place should be greater, but it is the responsibility of the holy ones to make it that great; yeah?

The Throne is greater. The throne has been around much longer than one King and the Throne will be around for as long as there is a king to sit on the Throne.

But without the Throne, neither the King nor 'His Queen' would have the power of sitting on it; would they?
