The Walking Dead: The death of Hershel

Does anyone have any thoughts on the death of Hershel? The Governor? I like these characters and I hated to see them go.

Hershel and the Governor both had an odd kind of respect for each other in this episode. It was interesting to see that play out. I think the real tragedy here is that if "Brian" had encountered the people at the prison a little sooner before he had reverted to his old ways, then he might have taken them up on the offer to live there. But he was just "Too Far Gone".

I was upset about Hershel, but not surprised.  I'm glad to see the Governor go, though.  And now we have to wait till February to see what happens next.

Oh no! Hershel's gone? I've seen till the 4th episodes only.

I thought both character's stories had ran their course.

Yeah, probably not the best idea to post "The Death of Hershel" because some people still haven't seen it, but nonetheless, it was crazy! They've definitely outdone themselves and it's reminiscent of when they lost Dale (season 2).

I'm curious to see what they do from here and where they take the story...was it all a dream? We can only wait...

I was so sad to see Herschel go! And in such a sad, horrific way! As for the governor, I wish Michonne had done more to him but I was glad to see her finally get her hands (or rather, katana) on him. I did like the way they gave Rick, Michonne, and that girl's mother each a piece of him though. I would have liked to have seen Daryl get the last word though after what "Brian" did to his brother Merle (though I'm not sure Daryl even knew what the governor did to Merle). I do hope that Judith is safe, maybe she's with Tyrese and the kids?
