Well, here I go again...searching for a job either on or off line...I recently started working with a staffing agency and the prospects are slim. The position right now is at a market research firm and the project is drying up; not that I'm mad just preplexed. I've been employed before full time, overtime, with a long commute too boot. Do I miss it? Well some days yes just the extra income, but most days no! The stress and restrictions are gone! I can concentrate on my real pursuits-writing. However I realize that money is important, the house and all of its trappings-2 kids etc...so I continue to hunt for avenues to bring in that needed extra cash, while pecking away on my latest masterpiece

Hopefully, things will continue to work out, and I'll finish and get published.

All I can say is Good Luck in all your endeavors.  Employment today is not easy so if you get a job, well, hang on cause who knows when the next "job" will come along!!!

You might try Work at Home No Scams.  Eddy lists online job opportunities.  There are sites where you can write copy for ads, websites, etc and get paid for it.  There's freelance work available for writers through sites like Elance and Fiverr.  Worth a look.  Good luck.

I signed up with a temp agency, and I am also checking "Experience Works".  I hope to find my way into a program soon.  I haven't worked in at least 8 years, so I want to work.  I am tired of hearing from my husband how my hand is always stuck out and miss the days when I worked.  The drawback is, the people who wants to work can't find work, and the ones who don't want to work always find something.

There are a lot of work at home companies that hire home workers. I'm assuming you're a writer - you can freelance and post your experience on sites like Odesk.
