Yes the rain is wonderful!  I spent the summer in Texas and it is so good to be back on the Northwest Coast.

The rain is fantastic, but only in the summer. In the winter I hate it and wish it was snowing. The perks of living in the south.

Rain is such a beautiful art. I love the pretty stokes of lines it creates in the sky when you are driving close to a rain storm. Although rain can be taken for granted rain is a essiencial part of life that we need.It gives back to the earth and in turn creates beautiful forms of artwork. I love the sound of rain the smell of rain and the feel of rain. I like to dance in the middle of the rain storm and just spin around and i click into my own little universe. It calms and relaxes me. Rain creates a tune you see and if you listen closely you can hear that tune. It's such a peacefull tune. Walking out in rainstorms can bring out your inner child as well. I love kicking up the puddles and dancing in the rain.. Sometimes when walking in the rain you get some weird looks from people when you don't want a ride. I just love rain! Rain is a beautiful thing and after a rainstorm when you see a beautiful rainbow i am reminded that beauty comes in the smalles forms sometimes and it keeps a smile on my face. The world is a beautiful place when it rains. The plants are thankfull, the grass is thankfull, the trees are thankfull, the world is thankfull, and most of all i'm thankfull. Without rain we would never get out of drought even tho it can cause flooding it is very benificial. It adds color to the world. Without color the world would be a very dull place. COLOR MY WORLD!

I love the rain.  The sound on tin roof is just soothing and relaxing.  My mother is the same way.  We had a good rain a couple of days ago and it was wonderful.

I too enjoy the rain because showers bring out the flowers.  But too much of any good thing usually causes problems.  But here in North Texas we could use about 40 days and nights of rain to fill up the resivoirs which are way to low.

I totally agree with you; there isn't anything like listening to the patter of rain fall on a tin roof. When I was young my grandmother lived in a big old house with a huge front porch. When it rained my cousins and I used to grab a quilt and run to the big hammock on the porch. We would swing back and forth in that hammock and watch the rain. I must admit that 99% of the time we would wind up a huddled mass sound asleep . My Granny didn't mind that at all. LOL It would give her a much needed break. Most people now a days don't appreciate moments like that. I call those "The Good Ole Days", when I didn't have a worry in the world.
