why is getting referrals so hard?
« on: October 30, 2013, 07:53:40 am »
why is it so hard to get referrals? especially active ones? I would think that people would want to make some more money to supplement their income a little. they just think it's not worth it, or they don't trust it cuz of all the scams out there. Idk, but it makes it harder for me to make some money. Does anyone do advertising to get themselves referrals? if so, do they stay active?

I think you hit the nail on the head in that some people might have been scammed before and so are more distrustful of money making sites in general. Or they see that they make only a few cents a day, and so just think it's a waste of time. Or they see all of the offers that require you to purchase something or even some of the "free" offers that require a credit card and will start charging you unless you drop out during the trial period.

i think if you are going to advertise to get ref's, it's always best to advertise a site / blog that you run rather than just posting a banner that points to your FC sign-up page. If you advertise your own site, you can get into more depth as to why you like FC so much. You can show your own payment proofs as well as the BBB rating to assuage some fears that this is not a scam. You can tell them about all of the different ways that you can make money for free without having to sign up with a credit card. Maybe even post some tutorial videos to show how easy and how little time is required to make this money.

You may also consider something like a news letter about all of you money making ideas that they can subscribe to with their e-mail. By getting their e-mail address, you can be a little more proactive in helping those that may have signed up but are no longer active. Perhaps they just got confused about how FC's PTC works and if you just helped them get over that small hurdle, they'd become more active (that's actually what happened with me).

Only 2 out of 20 made a difference. they usually dont care to work hard enough to cash out. check with the posts of old buddy and he can tell you how to make it work if you have the time he put into it.

I've had little luck getting refs too.The common complaint I hear is "That's too much work for pennies." To each his own,I guess.

The problem my referrals have told me is that "they joined but don't understand how to earn money or how to use the site overall" so they just give up.

I suspect that if you make a youtube video - telling why the site is so great for you - others may see same and join in - referrals the easy way - let youtube work for you!   :dog:

The trouble is, most people look at it like a job, instead of a way to make extra money for free with a little time. They calculate the pay per hour, which isn't much, really, and then they decide not to bother. They don't realize that right now they aren't getting anything for their computer time. Even a few cents is better than nothing!
