Have you ever been taken to court?

If you go talk to them maybe they will let you make payments. After all they want there money and if you are good for payments they may take the payments and it should not go against your credit that way.

Last year I got some court paper because an old collection was suing me. I didn't understand the paper work and I was waiting for the court day, well little that I knew I was suppose to respond to them by a certain day. the court went against me and they put a Levy on my bank account. I get paid every month and I had just gotten paid they took every thing.  I went to this place were they help me for free and I was able to get my money back, but not after inuring 10 insufficient funds because I paid my bill when I got my direct deposit then they took it all. I had to wait around 30 day to get it. It was a hard month; very hard.

No I have never been taken to court for not paying a bill.  The only time I have been to court was when I divorced my ex-husband.
