I don't know about Hilarious ideas for Halloween costumes, but here are a few ideas:

Box of Soap:
Get a bag of white balloons and a box. Put the box over your head and cut out holes for your arms. Paint the box a bright color and the word "soap" across it. Then tape the bubbles to the top of the box around your shoulders and head.

Tree:
Wear brown clothes. Get a package of fall silk leaves for decorating (you can get 50 in a pack for about a dollar at craft stores). Tape them all over your arms and on a hat. Get a stuffed bird and perch it on your head.

Refrigerator:
Get a large box and paint it white, green or tan. Make a hole at the top for your head and armholes. Glue on some magnets and some post-it notes with shopping lists and phone numbers.

Mailman getting bit by a dog:
Dress like a mailman. Get a stuffed dog and sew it's mouth to your pant leg.

Put on a yellow sweat suit and run tire prints on it and go as a speed bump.  LOL Happy Halloween

Get some tulle and make a puffy tutu for your whole body.  Add a "rope" and become a Larger than Life Shower Luffa Scrubbie!

Instructions

1 Tulle is available at fabric stores in many bright colors.
Cut the tulle into more manageable pieces measuring 1 or 2 yards apiece.
2 Crumple up the pieces of tulle to make them fluffy.
3  Put on the shorts and T-shirt or dress and the tights, which should all match the color of the tulle.
4  Bunch up the crumpled tulle and safety-pin or stitch it to your clothing in a billowing, loofah-like pattern. Solicit help for the back.
5   Cut the rope into three equal pieces. Knot them together at one end, or tie them securely with a piece of thread. Braid the three pieces together.
6   Form the braid into a loop and pin it to your shoulder.
7   To make the loofah look wet, spray it all over with silver glitter spray.
8  Wear the costume with white shoes and a tiara if desired.
