There are a few out there, but they have loooooong waiting lists. If you're looking to make money by the holiday season, your best bet would be to check your local craigslist. Sometimes legit jobs are posted for small typing jobs at home.

I am in need for job too. But because I am taking care four kids. Dropping them at school and picking them up from school, my schedule aint fit any work schedule up them. except if you work part time in restaurant and get out at 2:30pm. What I do is increase my surveys sites. Instead join one site I joined more than 2 sites. Like here at fusion is one and we request cash out when our account rich $25 and the other sites you can cashout when you have $30 in your account so when you rich those kind of amount and request cashout you will see some cash in your hand. But you have to have a goal for one day or for a week, for how much you wanted to targeted. Set that and give anger in your goal and you'll be fine...

I've tried a lot of job ideas online.  Be very careful and you are right,  you don't pay money to start making money online!

You  have to be cautious.   I have yet to find a job and I am 55.  I tried a few jobs that were asking for money.  I am sick of asking my husband for money because he tends to make me feel as though I am a burden.   So I earn my money on the Internet doing sites like FC.  Between two sites, I have earned  $47.76 on FC and working towards $30 to $40 on the other.  I like the fact that my name is on the check and he doesn't know about my FC account.  My goal on FC was $60, but I will take whatever I have earned on the  31st from FC.  I have a deadline date of December 1, so I had to change my goal.

when I was unemployed, I was hitting about 7-8 sites a day for pretty decent money and GCs but now I stick to about 3 since the time isn't there anymore to do more

its hard to find legit work like this and never pay to do this its more than likely a scam

There are a few work from home customer service jobs. TeleTech is a great legit work from home job but the hiring process takes anywhere from a few weeks to month.
