Remote Controls
« on: August 17, 2013, 05:55:05 am »
The other day, I visited a neighbor.
She had six remote controls for different uses with the T.V.
It made me glad I don't have a T.V.  -- too confusing.

The future will be T.V. on your computer.

We have 4 remote controls.  One came with the analog box for the TV, one came with my TV when I purchased it, and two came with my DirecTV subscription.

I did have two. One for the T.V and one for my digital cable. One remote controlled the volume and power on/off and the other controlled the channels. Luckily I was able to program my cable remote to do everything because I hated having to switch remotes.

Well I have only one remote for my TV, Satellite box. I do have a few others but for totally different things. I cannot wait until Apple comes out with their TV set. I know things are going to change for the better.

Luckily my cable remote will control both the TV and the Cable box ... makes it much easier ... the remote has an  "All On" button which turns both the tv and cable box on or off at the same time.
Now if I can just keep the remote out of the dog's mouth ... lol
