New Site Layout Glitches
« on: August 09, 2013, 07:06:39 am »
Admin - I'm liking the new layout.  Since it's new, I'm going to assume people who try it out will notice things that might be glitchy so I thought I'd start this topic to save on your "problems" submissions if people could comment on issues they find for you to collect and tweak in the short term.

I read in the "New DCE" topic that someone had issues with the verification this morning.  I too am using Firefox and did not have any issues.  Not sure if something changed between their accessing it and me..but worked fine for me.

The only glitch I encountered is when working the PTC task, when I click on the sponsored links, the link opens up in the current window/tab vs opening in a new window/tab (still working on current FF version 23).  After I clicked on the sponsored link, I did use the browser nav button to back up to the PTC page and the system did record my selection, so that was good.  Just seems the code rendering it just needs to include a tag to direct the browser to open it in a new tab/window.

I like the general layout - much easier to navigate to common places in the site compare with the old design.  I found the Forum Posting link on the account page to be very useful - much easier than drilling down the links on the current path from the anchored forum post.

My only "preference" is I liked the old site color scheme a little better.  I think the darker green is more distinctive of the Fusion Cash brand.  The current color scheme makes me feel like I'm working some other GPT sites - the closest is Cash4Offers - they use a very similar color scheme on their site.  I would suggest keeping the darker green color scheme, but that's just my opinion.

Nice work!

I'll keep an eye out if you create a sticky forum entry for reporting glitches like this if one already exists elsewhere.

LOVING THE NEW LOOK   ;D
So far so good running nice and smooth but I understand there can and will a few bumps you will probably have to work on :)
Keep up the great work that you do  I hope that no one gives ya and major problems if they run into a bump if they do then maybe FC is not a place they need to be.. As A Traffic Exchange Site owner I completely understand It is not easy and I sometimes write the code wrong and have to go fix it:)
Cu-dos again Sir I love it and love being a part of it :)

Love the new format - hate the "Solve Media" challenge, which, on my computer, has gone back to the completely indecipherable gobbledegook.  I tried at least 10 times on one.  So frustrating.

Took a while, but I think this bug is fixed.  Thank you for the detailed error report.

You don't have to use it yet.  We're still working out the kinks.  We suggest that you do try it at some point so that - if it's not going to work for you - we can address that before the "hard" cutoff (which is at a yet-to-be-determined date).

I like the new layout very easy to navigate and that is very important. The 1 think I don't like is the color scheme. It looks a little drab. Perhaps a sharper hue for the lettering and softer background.

I WANT TO KEEP THE OLD LOOK. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IT. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT.

I agree, keep the old look! I'm familiar with it, gives me no problems and is basically glitch free (accept when I play the promotions but don't get credit!). Just leave what works alone, thanks.

;D I was unable to spend a lot of time on the new layout when I did my DCE earlier today but I like it.  What I did do did not seem to present me with any problems so we shall see.  Again I like it so far but hope to spend more time experimenting another day.

I also had a few problems with the PTC page and the tasks page. I liked the new layout and it was really easy to find everything with no problem.

I like the navigation of the new site. It seems much eaiser. However, I don't really color scheme. I like the old one much better.
I did have a problem with the ptc  after clicking part A (the coupon center)to redeem the ptc part b the ptc code didn't appear to complete the PTC. I had to refresh the page a couple of times before I was able to complete the ptc  :peace:
