I have not had a problem logging on or having pages load.

If you have a broadband/cable IPS connection, it shouldn't be a problem.
If you are dial-up, however, it can be slow -- because the ISP service is slower.  And the weather can affect phone service and hence, dial-up isp service.

If you haven't clean your cookies and temp files recently, give that a try.  Click on Tools, Internet Options and under Browsing History, click on delete, read your options and proceed.

I use CCleaner to do the same thing.  Believe it does a more complete job then the Windows app.  CCleaner is available as a free download.

I think there were some 'technical issues' with FC on Monday. It seems that quite a few people had trouble of various kinds with FC, all o f which seem to have been dealt with pretty quickly and resolved.

Has the problem gotten better for you?  I have not had any problems running slow or logging in.  I'm sure that can be frustrating!  Good luck.

Google CCleaner to get to the website that provides the download.  Look for the FREE download.
(They also offer a version that you have to pay for.)

If you have broadband or a cable ISP, the download shouldn't take that long.
Note:  download sites frequently also offer free toolbars -- I always decline those since toolbars tend to slow your computer down and they take up valuable space at the top of my windows.

The actual running of CCleaner normally takes about a minute or so depending on the size of your computer and what you have loaded.  If you haven't cleared your cookies or temps in a long while, it will take longer.
You will get a caution window telling you that CCleaner will be removing files from your computer  (well, of course it will -- it's removing all the temp/cookies).  You need to click okay to have it run.

I have noticed that after CCleaner has cleaned up my cookies, there are some sites that I have to re-enter my user name and password  (these are saved on cookies that get removed by CCleaner.)  The Windows application gives you the option of saving the cookies for your favorites so the user names/passwords aren't erased.

Our service has been on again and off. Mostly due t the weather here. Thursday the town just 50 miles away had a ton of hail, thankfully it bypassed us and hit south of us. But the signal was messed up some also the other one which is just too the south of us. Hopefully everything will straighten out soon.
