Earnings in FusionCash
« on: May 31, 2013, 12:40:36 am »
Is the money earned in FusionCash reportable to the Internal Revenue?  Will I receive a MISC 1099 at the end of the year?

FC will report your income to the IRS if you earn at least $600/year. If it takes you 2-3 years to earn $600, FC will not report anything to the IRS. In my case, FC will be reporting my income since I have earned $1000 in 6 months and will probably be earning $2000/year.  :)

If you don't mine will you share some of your strategies for earning here on Fusion Cash. You are among those that inspire us. Thanks!!!

You will receive a 1099 if you have earned more than $600 in a given calendar year.

When you make a cash out request that would put you over $600 in a given calendar year, FC will ask you to provide W-9 information (ie your Tax Id number=social security number) so that they can file the 1099 for that year.

Fc will not take income tax withholding from any of your cashout; you would need to make provision for paying the tax due from other sources.

Yes you will get a 1099 if you earn at least $600.  Congrats to elisajoy for earnings and for giving us some encouragement.

Even if you don't earn over $600/year to received paperwork from FC, you are still earning income and should report it to the IRS.

But not everyone does that.  That is like people who win at the Casino, but don't report it because it was under $1,000.  They don't give you the W-2G, then people won't report.

As far I as know, you will not. I could easily be wrong. But then again, I don't even make that much.
