Try Ancestry.com. I learned a lot through this.

My cousin, the family's historian, just sent me obituaries of my grandmother, my cousin (her great-aunt and my grandmother were first cousins, as they were two sisters' daughters) and my mother.  In reading my grandmother's obituary, I discovered my great-grandfather's first name.  I plan to research some more and discovered a lot of people I knew in addition to my great-grandmother and her other daughter, who turned out to be my grandmother's brother's daughter.  It is very fascinating.

I also use One Great Family of and on.  It is very good, and it is cheaper than Ancestry.com.

I have researched my family tree. Well atleast on my mothers side because I don't know my father (a story for another topic thread lol) You find out a lot of interesting information and a lot of things that #1 you didn't know and #2 things that have been forgotten thru the years. Good luck!
