I think it is important to have hope.  Hope that things will be good and if they are not that things will get better.  I too place my hope in Jesus Christ.

Hello I really like your quote. It's true we can't live without hope. If we felt doomed and there is no hope we wouldn’t want to live long. Having no hope will eventually lead to suicide or a long life of sadness. In life it pays being optimistic and full of hope. I hope one day all of us on earth can learn to live in peace.

Profound! I have never heard this one. No hope is a dreadful thing. I think that everyone should have Hope for something. Life would not be worth living without it . Kinda like you said.

How do you counsel a person who has lost hope when they don't really put their faith in God?

I have allot of faith in God, but I still sometimes have no hope because things only seem to be getting worse in my life.

we are given three things.  Faith, Love and Hope.  Whether we choose to accept these gifts is up to each of us and accepting them will see us through our darkest times.  This is what I believe.
