REMEMBER THE GOOD OLD DAYS ......WHEN LIFE WAS SIMPLER

When I think back to the old days, I had it really hard but compared to now the struggle just seemed like o'well it will pass. To now OMG what am I going to do, I have to take care of this ASAP.   

Back in the days family stuck together and family reunions was something that kept family as a whole and showed love and support in life[/b].  Now all the elders that kept the family reunions[/b] and gathering going are gone and the new  generation has other things on their minds. [/color]

Life was so much simpler 25 - 30 years ago.  It is hard to believe how this world has changed ~ and for the worse.  It seems like the more advanced technology becomes, the more sinful the world becomes.

[sarcasm]Exactly. Now that we have technology which enables communication on a mass scale, and allows the spread of peoples ideas and beliefs we live in a world infected with sin. What's even worse, is that medical science continues to advance and continues to save more lives thanks to this better technology and understanding of human biology. Its unfortunate that because of these advances, we are able to extend the lives of those who suffer from HIV, Cancer, and other debilitating diseases, because it's those very advances that spit in the face of god and discredits the efforts of our religious leaders.[/sarcasm]

I am personally relieved that I live in the time that I live in. The proliferation of violence doesn't exist. Things are actually safer than they ever had been. Sure, because of the news and other forms of media the reprieved increase in violence is growing stronger, but I doubt that walking around at night is any less safe than it was 30 years ago. Especially now that we have technology helping the police and other such agencies (not to even mention the power of the internet.) The fact remains, things are only getting better. Sure, economically and politically things are getting worse, but countered with the wave of technology and science that is improving our lives makes those things seem petty in comparison.

Sometimes when you look at the hustle and bustle of this fast paced society, sometimes you wish you could be transported back to the quiet times of the "old days"

YES I DO REMEMBER THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN YOU COULD MAKE YOU CANE POLE GO TO LAKE WITH A FIVE GALLON BUCKET AND SOMETHING COLD TO DRUNK AND FISH ALL DAY AND TI WAS FREE!!! POOR MAN CAN'T CATCH BRAKE

Life was alot simpler back then. There has been way too many changes. Im hoping to camp out this year. No phones sitting by a campfire. I havent done this in a long time.
