Boston suspect caught

They have just caught the Boston suspect in custody.  They are not saying if he is dead or alive right now.  I hope he is still alive, I'm sure they (the police and public) want to know why they did that.

Hello  first of I would like to pray that those family’s that have lost love ones are okay. :angel11: It's hard to believe we live in a world like this where we hurt each other. :sad1: I don't think any explanation of why the attack occurs would make sense to us. We just have to deal with the aftermath. Life is truly priceless we should enjoy every moment. :angel11: :)

My prayers goes out to all the victims and their families...... I hope Ms. Ferinstein will lead the cause to enact background checks for persons wishing to purchase pressure cookers. We certainly cannot have crazies running around with pressure cookers anymore.

Why are we so concentrated on deporting Mexican immigrants who are here to work and make a better life for themselves and not concentrating on deporting people who are here, living in America, taking advantage of the benefits while at the same time plotting ways to Kill Americans?  Not just foreign terrorists but domestic terrorists as well.  No gun control laws will stop people who build bombs using ordinary kitchen cookware that destroy lives of hundreds of people.  America is in a real mess.  Although the people of Boston are cheering for the admirable performance of the Boston Police Department  as well they should, they cannot really seriously feel safe now because there are thousands of Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev living in America plotting the next strike.

I also questioned why they didn't check the boat earlier and a citizen had to be the one to actually find the suspect after a whole day of police work, but I think they would have to have search warrants to actually search someones property so all the police could actually do was to talk to individuals in the homes in that area to see what they knew or they could search a property if there was "probable cause" or some suspicion of the suspect actually being there.

This is true. They did go door to door, according to my sis-in-law who was there visiting relatives. They knocked, asked if the homeowners wanted their property to be searched, and if they said "No" the police simply asked them to call if they saw or heard anything suspicious and left.

Under the circumstances if I had an outbuilding, shed, boat or some other place that SOB might have crawled into that I wouldn't leave my family alone to go check for myself, darn straight I'd want the cops to search it! But that's just me. Different people have different ideas about police, and it's their property and their right.  :dontknow:  I also heard one report that said the property was just outside the perimeter where they were concentrating and going house to house, but can't swear to it as fact. The media didn't do a bang up job of getting things right.
