Social Beverage Survey

I got an invite for a Social Beverage Survey.  I proceed, qualify, then it tells me I need to download an application/software-thing to continue.  Have any of you ever seen this?  I'm leery of downloading anything.

I haven't seen this Survey, but I'm right there with ya "I'm leery of downloading anything"... Those are the ones I just skip and go on to find other offers / task.  :thumbsup:

I've downloaded several things as a result of survey sites and I've never had an issues

This was an FC survey which then went to InContext Solutions, which I've never seen before.

I did some research on the place providing the survey experience, and they appeared to be on the up-and-up, so I went ahead and downloaded the web app.  It was a fun survey!  If you get that one, go ahead and download - I haven't had anything bad happen to my computer so far.

InContext is OK, if a bit memory-hoggy on older computers. It simulates a grocery store. It looks like the old Second Life and those other virtual worlds that used to be so popular.

I got this one today. I dd not have to worry about whether or not to download an app because I did not qualify. I had read this discussion yesterday. I still could not decide whether or not I would download the app but I never got that far. It was taken out of my hands. C'est la Vie!

No deal for me on this one. Put in age and ethnicity. Clicked continue on next page and was zapped. Funny to be dq'd without answering anything.

I uninstalled the software as my computer was dragging, and things are fine now.  Originally I said I wasn't having issues, but I couldn't pinpoint the problem so I decided to uninstall their software since I [hopefully] won't need it anymore.
