UPS is the best customer friendly shipping company in the world - yes - the world.
I appreciate the courtesy.
Fed Ex "rings (or knocks) and runs".
I have lived with a handicap my whole life.
I have gotten used to some things and learn to deal with other things.

I've had UPS people ring and go. I don't know about the running part, but they ring the bell and then I open and there is my package. I don't seem to mined it, but in you situation I guess I would.

I very very rarely have problems with UPS.

Sometimes they come in the evenings and ring and go or they just drop and go.

I have had both ring and leave.  Neither one has ever waited for me but that's ok.

When ever UPS has delivered to me, they have been on time and very courteous. I have never had a problem with UPS.

I live on a one way very busy street so they all ding dong ditch
even my mailman thinks somehow my doggies are gonna grow opposable thumbs and open the door and get him so he
runs off very quick too.
OP i am sorry that youve had some bad experiences, I hope that you are able to only deal with companies that ship UPS from now on.
Also some of those guys look cute in their brown shorts

    Both companies are in business to provide excellent service. Sorry, to see you had some problems.
Do not forget: If you sign the delivery slip and give them delivery instructions, the company will follow your instructions.
