The main thing I do is drive only where I need to go and avoid driving to extra places. This keeps my gas budget lower. I carpool as much as possible, too.

You can find me on Youtube!

The only relief we have from the gas prices here is that the grocery store we shop at offers you money off at their gas station if you shop at their store.  Because my boyfriend has to drive a lot for work, we generally get 30 gallons free at the end of each month or so.  We take gas cans to the station and fill up.  I know, they're making money on this promotion somewhere, but the food and gas are necessities and the free gas is nice.

The gas prices up and down so much they make me dizzy.....I wish we could boycott....but how will we survive, can we carpool...the person with the van do the driving and everyone chips in on gas, no joy ridding, something...they know they got us....

Gas stations are just as tired of high gas prices as we are - they have trouble making a profit with prices this high.  They aren't the ones supplying the gas at the end of the day - it's the oil companies which have record profits which are the problem.  Unfortunately, short of Congress getting involved and regulating gas prices (which I'm all for, most free market capitalists aren't) I don't think there is anything we can do.  :BangHead:

I agree that this is one thing government should control at least a little. The prices are out of control and with mno reason. When will it stop????

Gas prices ar rising almost daily. Right now it is $3.58 in lower South Carolina. I hope the prices will begin to go down.

we have to do something Gas prices are crazy but it will have to be alot of people involved for it to work only a few people for the cause is not going to work. The companies would have to feel the pain to really change and make a difference
